FRESH NEWS FROM OUR TOP DESTINATIONS     Bansko   Without a doubt, Bansko is famous among tourists basically as a skiing and a snowboarding destination. The total length of the ski tracks is 75 km, as the longest of them is 16 km long. About 90% of all 16 tracks are equipped with canons for artificial snow for high-quality and long-lasting snow cover.    Read more     Borovets   Borovets is one of the biggest mountain resorts in Bulgaria. It is located at an elevation of 1300 m on the northern slopes of Rila Mountain, some 70 km away from Sofia, approximately 130 km from Plovdiv, and 10 km south of Samokov.    Read more     Pamporovo   The winter resort Pamporovo is situated at the foot of Snezhanka peak (1926 meters) in the Rhodope mountain, at a distance of 260 km from Sofia, 85 km from Plovdiv and 16 km from Smolyan. The resort is situated on an elevation of 1650 meters above the sea level.    Read more   Chepelare   Chepelare is famous as one of the winter resorts of Bulgaria. Chepelare Ski Center is situated in close proximity to the end of the town, on the way to Pamporovo. The town has long-term traditions in ski sports. The ski tracks and the ski roads of the center are 20 km long.    Read more     Semkovo   The Semkovo Resort is in the Rila Mountains, at an altitude of 1,600 meters above sea level, 17 km from the city of Belitsa. It was declared a nationally recognized resort and important location in 1976.     Read more     Malyovitsa   Malyovitsa is a peak in the northwest part of Rila mountain. With its 2,729 meters of height, Malyovitsa is one of the highest peaks in Bulgaria and the 7th in Rila. It is located in the Rila national park in the area of limited human impact.    Read more   TOP VIEWED   Yundola Yundola is an appropriate place for winter and summer tourism. The resort contains ski tracks, equipped with tow-lifts. During the winter the snow cover stays for about 80 days, and the average January temperature is -4°C.
